Fishing Charters off San Juan Island

You may want to start by checking current regulations with the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife:

Fishing licenses are required of course and you should also check the red tide hotline at (800) 562-5632.

The Whale Museum is a good resource for information on the San Juan Island Fish Recovery Project.

Salmon Fishing is probably the most popular, especially during the summer months, but also halibut and bottom fish and don't forget crab fishing.

Our local salt water fishing charter companies include Salish Sea Charters and Trophy Charters, serving all of the San Juans and fishing the San Juans for salmon, halibut, lingcod and bottom fish since 1997 in a fast comfortable boat (360) 378-2110.

Need to find out what's available on San Juan Island?  Check the San Juan Island Link Directory including a link for bareboat charters if you'd rather charter a boat without a captain.
